The Hindu Students' Forum is a society that aims to provide a rich blend of religious and social events to its members. Members of the society originate from many different backgrounds and
religions from all over the globe. We aim to promote our dharma to a wide audience and to encourage people of all colour, race and creed to step up and learn what we as Hindus can offer to them, not just in the religious aspect but also the cultural background we all share. HSF is not a religious organisation which promotes fundamentalism or segregation. The unification of members from all communities would only further strengthen our society. We invite you to join our society where our educational events will run in tandem with our socials to give a good balance between culture and fun.
We believe that through our own unique culture and upbringing, each member will bring an inimitable contribution to the society.
We've had some great successful events in previous years. Socials such as the ice skating and laser quest have always been enjoyable events where freshers quickly intermingle. Our talks and debates will provide an educational aspect to university life. We're all here in further education and we believe its so important to educate ourselves in our culture and religion. But our biggest event is Moonlights, the biggest Diwali event on the student calendar. It brings together nearly 1000 students from all over the country for a Raas Garba event to celebrate our most eminent of festivals. We also have weekly activities to encourage participation from all our members. You can choose from football, badminton or bollywood dancing to name but a few!
So join up today, and become part of a dynamic society, here to provide every member with a unique chance to enhance their university experience with Hindu culture in a social, religious, educational and spiritual way.
